Central Branch Library will be holding a special Used Book Sale on the West Side Patio during Riverfest, Saturday the 4th from 11-5.
Sedgwick County Master Gardeners is hosting the Garden Tour 2016. $10 gets you entrance to all 8 lovely gardens.
Looking for outdoor summer fun for the kiddos? The Great Plains Nature Center has you covered. Check out their inexpensive outings here.
Botanica’s Butterfly House opening is this Sunday the 5th from 1:00-5:00. Entrance is only $3 with your Riverfest button. The first 100 children get to release a butterfly.
Have you checked out Fun Fit at the YMCA yet? The Downtown Branch also offers evening sessions from 6-8:30 Monday – Thursday. It is free with your membership for kids ages 6-12. Plus, the Kid Power Cafe is available beginning at 11 (immediately after the morning sessions from 9-11) for free, healthy meals for ages 18 and under.
Speaking of the YMCA, Saturday they are hosting a Free Baseball Clinic for any current baseball participants, any age. Come to the South Y outdoor fields from 9-Noon. Free and no registration required. Come learn some skills for this season.
